Yes i do find it difficult to contact my GP. At times I am hearing an engaged tone for up to an hour when trying to book appointments in the morning. I understand that everyone is trying to call at the same time, but is this really the most effective way to book an appointment?

Not everyone has time to wait around in the hope that the phone will become unengaged. Especially those who work, who need to book time off to go to Doctors.

Generally the receptionists at my GP are friendly and polite . At times, I dont have to wait too long to be seen to. However, sometimes it is hard to get through on the telephone when trying to book appointments.
